My girlfriends and I decided to go on an April vacation week "getaway" with our kids and this was the perfect house for it. The first day was rainy but none of the kids were complaining because there was so much space in the house: (1) The basement had a billiard table, ping pong table, and air hockey table; (2) The 1st floor had an addition that was great for the kids to take over; and (3) the house was located on a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac which gave the kids plenty of space to play without worry of traffic! The home was cozy, charming and very comfortable with tasteful seaside decor. The owners were very accommodating (especially since we contacted them the afternoon before we wanted to check-in!) and sent a very thoughtful welcome gift (which was amazing given the lack of notice they had about our rental)! We all had a great time and are hoping to return sometime this year.
This was my first time renting a home for a vacation and I have to say it was more than I could have expected. It truly felt like a home! I would highly recommend this beautiful place. We had all ages represented during our stay and everyone could find something to do. The basement was a hit, especially the pool table! Our stay wasn't even over and we were all planning our next visit. It is evident the owner takes pride in this home and wants others to enjoy it and love it as much as she does. A lot of thought has gone into making the house a home and it shows. Like I said I would highly recommend this vacation get away.
This house has a perfect location.Near the end of a cul-de-sac. it is a great spot for your little ones to learn how to ride a bike. The owners have provided an array of sizes, and there is a bike shop close to the bike trail where you can rent helmets. Having 2 outlets to Route 6 means you don't have to worry about traffic on Route 6, but two National Seashore beaches are less than a mile away. The basement has an array of games and our grandson made up a game we call bocce-pool. Arnold's is on the Corner of Old Orchard, and the sea food is great! There is a vineyard in Truro which holds tastings, and there is also a distillery. This is the second of four properties the owner has for rent that we have stayed at, and we look forward to coming again.
We had an absolute wonderful time staying at this property for a nice long weekend. I stayed here with 6 good friends and we enjoyed every moment we spent at the house. Were pleasantly surprised to find bikes in the shed and we all went on some fun rides around town. The house was very welcoming, and Julie was a wonder to work with. The location is great, near everything, yet still on a nice quiet street. I would strongly recommend a stay at this location and I certainly intend on returning.
I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home! 4 bedrooms provided ample space for our family. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the wooden kitchen playset and children's books :) The home was very clean and we had all of the amenities that we needed. Julie was very nice to work with and the website provided a lot of additional information about the location. Very quiet street. We loved all of the trees. This is in an excellent location and you are just a short drive away from either end of the cape.
This was my first rental experience, and I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, and I had an amazing stay. I have never ventured to the outer cape, and I'm now in love! Eastham was a great location, about 20 minutes from Dennis and Provincetown. The location was ideal because it was near a gas station, Arnold's restaurants, and 6 west. It was a few miles away from Cape Cod Rail Trail and Nauset Light Beach. We were able to ride our bikes, and there were more in the backyard shed. The house was very accommodating to young kids with the high chair and ping pong, foosball, and pool in the basement. The free wifi and cable were a plus as well! There was a lot of space for eating and spreading out with seating in the kitchen, living room, season room, and deck. The only downside is 2 out of 4 rooms had AC, but the fans were very useful and kept the rooms cool. Overall, amazing stay and accommodating for ages 2 to 69 and beyond! Thank you again for the housewarming gift, Julie! The house was very clean, airy, and bright. It felt like home and that's the best feeling to have for a home away from home.
Myself and a group of ladies took the opportunity to go away and celebrate the beginning of our 30's and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Beautiful sun room, nice patio, spacious living quarters, adorable kitchen and quant bedrooms. The basement has several games such as ping pong and air hockey and the owners even took it upon themselves to have access to board games, bicycles and boogie boards. We were perfectly located close to the beach and popular attractions. It was the perfect home away from home!
We had a very nice stay at Summer Breeze during Memorial Day weekend for the second year in a row. The house is spacious and the beds were comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is perfect! Arnold's is a very short drive away and the beaches are close too. We are looking forward to our next visit.
My wife and I came with our three girls (ages 5, 3, and 1) and my brother, his wife, and three kids (ages 15, 14, and 12). This beautiful home was ideal for such a wide age range since it had toys and books for our little ones, and a big basement filled with great "toys" for the older kids (foosball, air hockey, pool table, and ping pong). There was also plenty of supplies in the closets and cabinets (extra pillows and blankets, soap and shampoo, mouthwash), and we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh coffee to be made. The owner was also so thoughtful to include a welcome package that everyone could enjoy. We really look forward to coming again soon (perhaps this fall) and are already spreading the word to family and friends about this comfy Cape home for getaways.
My sisters, mother and I enjoyed a nice 4-day vacation in the Cape, and staying in Coastal Breeze made our experience all the more enjoyable. The house is perfectly appointed with every amenity you could ever need or want. The home itself is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and cozy. The location is perfect as a centerpoint for daily excursions. Being on a budget, renting this house was a perfect option for us because we cooked breakfast and dinner there every day. The owner's rental process was thoughtful, convenient and professional.
Our extended family of 11 spent a relaxing week here in June and loved it. The house easily accommodated all of us for sleeping (one of our 11 was a 3-yr old who slept in the crib) in comfy beds, eating and hanging out. The location was close to several beaches (a quick drive), great restaurants, and fun shopping in nearby towns. We also cooked and ate at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils., etc. The weather in June was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!!
Our family had a wonderful two week stay at Coastal Breeze this August. The house was very clean and had everything that was listed that would be there. It is on a dead end street which had very little traffic and the deck was so enjoyable. Coastal Breeze is close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and my son road the trail every chance he could. It also close to Nauset Light and Marconi beaches and we also traveled to Provincetown a few time including going on a whale watch (we got great pictures). If you want donuts go to the Hole n One doughnut shop on Route 6 and for ice cream try Nauset Light Ice Cream. Don't forget to stop at Sam's Deli for sandwiches. If you are an adventurer stop at the Cape Cod National Seashore Headquarters in Eastham the are all types of thing to do. If you have a few extra minutes at the Headquarters building watch the movie "Sands of Time" it is only about ten minutes long (shows how Cape Cod was formed). Having wi-fi is a great. Julie is a great owner and explained everything about her home. We would recommend this house to a friend.
We just returned from spending a week at Coastal Breeze, everything was fantastic, Julie and Dave have gone out of their way to make your stay relaxing and pleasant. The house was clean, well maintained and welcoming, the same can be said of the furnishings, everything we needed and more could be found in the house. The house is located near the end of a Cul-de-sac so it makes for a very quiet, private and safe location. The beds were extremely comfortable, featuring quality Sealy mattresses, the kitchen was well outfitted with everything you could possibly need if you choose to eat in. We had the pleasure of seeing a Fisher not 12' from the rear deck one morning and Turkeys in the front yard the next. From the moment we walked in we felt as if we were walking into a home, not just renting a house, that feeling was further strengthened by finding a lovely welcome Tote Bag on the kitchen table containing goodies, Cape Cod Chips, a bottle of wine and a handwritten card welcoming us, nice touch! Our stay was absolutely perfect and we would return in a heartbeat.

My husband and I rented Coastal Breeze last week and throughly enjoyed the house and location. As I had read in previous reviews the house was spotless and beds comfortable. It was great being so close to the bike trail and we took advantage of that many times. Area restaurants were great as well. I would definitely recommend this home!
What a great house. We had more than enough room for 6 adults. The welcome gift was much appreciated. The home is very clean and accommodating. There wasn't a kitchen item that was not provided. Julie is very responsive if any issue occurs. And the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be booking our next vacation at Coastal Breeze! Thanks Julie and Dave.
We have stayed at all the Summer Breeze homes for many years now and would never think of staying anywhere else. The homes are clean, well stocked, comfortable and the owners are always readily available to answer questions, or help in any way. Coastal Breeze is very convenient to the bike path, which makes it perfect for families with young children. You can relax at the cottage and listen to the wonderful songbirds. My favorite feature of these homes is the outdoor shower! It feels like a spa at the end of a beach day. You will not regret staying at a Summer Breeze home.
We had an amazing vacation at Cape Cod. This charming home was a great location for exploring this beautiful part of the country. It is a quick trip to Provincetown and also many beaches, great restaurants, and shopping. We also spent a day at Martha's Vineyard which I highly recommend. The owner is welcoming and very thorough. We definitely want to return next year. Thanks for such warm and welcoming hospitality!
Summer Breeze is a lovely home. We have rented many homes in Eastham but none are as comfortable as Summer Breeze. Beds are comfortable, plenty of linens and extra blankets provided. The decor of the house is just what you would expect in renting a beach house. Warm and inviting. I gave 4 stars only for the fact that the kitchen is a little small for our taste. My husband and I really love to cook and there is limited space but we made it work. The sun room and deck gives plenty of space for meals and to spread out for board games, cards or puzzles. We have stayed at Summer Breeze twice now and look forward to a return trip! Highly recommend! Owner is easily available if any issues should arise during your stay.
Thank you for spending your vacation with us again, Lori. We always appreciate our valued returning guests! We are investing in a complete kitchen remodel this year which will utilize the space better and allow for additional counter space and cabinetry. We look forward to seeing you again next fall!
We stayed at Summer Breeze and had a wonderful time. The house is in a great central location. It is close to the local beaches and other fantastic sites along the Cape. We took a day trip to Nantucket and loved it. A very friendly and welcoming home and community. Thanks for a great stay!
Amazing property in Eastham and we had two great weeks there ! ! So much is provided at the home and it’s very cozy !! Great location - close to amazing beaches (Coast Guard , Nauset Light , Marconi , Nauset) and wonderful food ( Arnold’s, Sams Deli, Hole in One , Stewart’s , Red Barn) - the lists go on and on ..... Nice quiet private street and close to the Bike Trail. Nice deck and sunroom to store beach and other supplies.... Owners Julie and Dave are very responsive and nice to work with, always answered any questions promptly !!
We had a great vacation at the Cape and the Coastal Breeze home was perfect for our family! The bedrooms were comfortable and having a bathroom on each floor worked out well. The open floor plan allowed for interaction whether you were preparing meals or watching television. Also, the spacious eating area in the breezeway was perfect for our family of 6! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and reading a book to pass the afternoon away. The home was well-maintained and the owners were very attentive. The location was great! We went on several bike rides on the Cape Cod Trail, which was conveniently located a few blocks away from the house. The beach was only a mile away and we enjoyed our morning walks with our four-legged family member! Looking forward to future vacations at this wonderful home!
Our stay was fabulous. Weather was great. The house was well equipped, clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The kids loved the game tables in the basement..The extended porch and deck was great for family dinners. Enjoyed Sunrise and walks and yoga on Nauset Light Beach. First Encounter is a great beach for the kids and watching sunsets. Biked, visited Wiley Park on the lake. Loved Nauset Ice cream. They have a great variety of homemade flavors and sizes for the kids. Also enjoyed Fairway Restaurant...great pizza. Light
Cute cozy house, yet plenty of room. Nicely furnished with many amenities - from fully stocked kitchen, 'game room' in basement, to spacious deck with grill. Close to everything and on a quiet cul-de-sac. The gift bag the owners left for us was a very nice touch. Would definitely be interested in using one of their houses in the future.
This property is beautifully upkept. It was spotless and the kitchen is well equipped. This was important as we ate many meals at home. 7 of us stayed there: my husband and I, my son and his wife, and my daughter with her husband and 8 year old. We all had privacy and plenty of room to interact. If you love fish and lobster, consider bringing it home from Mac's Kitchen, which is about a mile away on Route 6 heading east. It's a great way to enjoy wonderful seafood while cooking kid-friendly meals at the cottage. The homeowners were very gracious about texting and checking with us and making sure we needed nothing when we arrived. There was a lovely gift basket waiting for us in the kitchen - small gifts that we all appreciated. We felt like we were staying in the home of friends. We have been vacationing on this part of the Cape for 30 years, but we still found new things to do. We love the nearby beaches, restaurants, and bike trail. But we never knew that it's an Eastham tradition to go to First Encounter beach and watch the sunset. The view is amazing. Go there at least once to enjoy it. This property will be at the top of our list for future Cape escape vacations. The McHale Family
